Back in 2007, ChiChi Bites was born in answer to a friend’s need to entertain a large crowd in a small secret garden – and without a table or chair in sight. With the event looming, the hostess didn’t know where to begin but she knew this was something I would thoroughly enjoy.

 

With careful planning and an inventive menu, the night was a resounding success. The garden looked exquisite. Plentiful courses of lavish canapés, delicious bowl food and delicate finger food just kept on coming – for four and a half hours. The guests were sated and very complimentary and the hostess was relieved that she could enjoy her party without having to worry about a thing.

 

That evening was my ‘light bulb’ moment! This was the business I’d been searching for – the perfect combination of my creative background (art and pottery) and my passion for top-quality food, exciting flavours, stunning tableware and, of course, throwing a great party!
